When I wrote “It's Scratchy, It's Catchy, and I Just Don't Like It”, I never imagined there would one day be a knitting pattern inspired by Mollie's sweater. The sweater was simply part of the story. But after sharing it at book signings and fibre events, so many knitters asked if the pattern would be available.
Thanks to the incredible support of the fibre community and the beautiful chart designed by Andrea Lampman, that idea has now become a reality.
Whether you're knitting this sweater for yourself, a child, a grandchild, or someone special, I hope it brings as much joy to you as it has to me. Most of all, I hope it reminds you that handmade truly means made with love.

Steph Mulley has been writing poetry and short stories since the beginning of time (or at least since the late ’70s). She is passionate about appreciating used and handmade clothing, and she truly believes that even the scratchiest of sweaters can be special when they are made with love.
When she’s not writing, Steph enjoys being creative with fun photoshoots and get-togethers. She is the proud mom of two super-cool grown-up kids and lives in Ontario, Canada, with her spouse, her sheepdog, and her 30-year-old turtle. This is her first published book.
